Stuffed, F***ed, Locally-sourced. STUFXXD is an ironic line of fluffy, stuffed animals based on dying animals on the shore. Stuffing of the products are locally sourced from local riverside and beach.
배 터지게, 망가질 때까지, 지역산 충전물로. STUFXXD는 해변에 떠밀려온 죽어가는 동물들을 모티브로 한, 풍자적인 콘셉트의 푹신한 인형 라인입니다. 제품에 사용된 충전재는 지역의 강가와 해변에서 채취한 재료로 만들어졌습니다.
Background
A recycling project that replaces sea glass with sea plastic. This art campaign collects discarded plastic fragments from beaches and rivers, using them as stuffing for plush toys. The stuffed animals—shaped like marine creatures such as seals, turtles, and seabirds that are dying from ingesting plastic—are filled with recycled plastic to highlight the issue. These toys were distributed as part of a PR campaign aimed at raising awareness about coastal restoration and marine pollution.
씨글라스 대신 바다를 채우고 있는 씨플라스틱의 재활용 프로젝트. 해변 및 강가에서 수거된 폐플라스틱 조각들을 수거하여 인형의 스터핑으로 활용한 아트 캠패인 프로젝트이다. 실제 플라스틱 섭취로 죽어가고 있는 해안생물 - 물개, 거북이,바다새- 모양 인형들은 재활용 플라스틱으로 스터핑하여 완성되었다. 제작된 인형들은 해안재생 문제의식 개선을 위한 pr캠페인의 일환으로 배포되었다.
